When I say Phillips' book is pragmatic, I mean that it is written as a practical guide for today's leaders. He applies the wisdom, style, and character of Lincoln to situations business owners and leaders are facing today: crisis, competition, managing challenging people, making the right move, trusting your gut. At the end of each chapter, Phillips provides Lincoln Principles, which are a handful of proven leadership tips that will help you right now.
An engaging read about one of America's greatest presidents. Practical wisdom on leading during hard times. A handful of leadership nuggets at the end of each chapter. Can you really ask for anything more?
